The Centre for Retail Studies is a non-profit organisation with the mission to reinforce the Icelandic retail, tourism and service sector’s competitiveness. All our research and development activities aim to provide practical solutions to these industries and its employees’.

We have long experience in collaboration with Scandinavian and European knowledge centres and can offer a wide expertise and recent knowledge of which service industries can gain from. Examples of research projects funded by the Northern periphery Programme is “Retail in Rural Regions” (2008-2011) and “Tourist Guide for Northern Periphery” (2010-2013).
