GEA IV Workshop "Sharing Wisdom and Knowledges" Canada
The Indigenous led workshop on restoring and re-storying Indigenous Peoples' ways of knowing, doing, and being, going through un-colonizing/decolonizing and an Indigenizing process, where Indigenization is about assuming responsibility and stewardship. The workshop is a part of the Component II of the GEA Phase IV, endored by the Arctic Council SDWG.
IACN's Gender Equality Plan 2024

Arctic Congress Bodö 2024
The Arctic Congress Bodø 2024 will be a unique event that combines the International Congress of Arctic Social Sciences (ICASS) XI, UArctic Congress 2024, and High North Dialogue 2024. The congress takes place from 29 May to 3 June 2024 in Bodø, Norway, hosted by Nordland Research Institute and NORD University. Bringing three conferences together in Bodø – one of the 2024 European Cultural Capitals - will be an extraordinary showcase of Arctic cooperation.

The Arctic Region
The Arctic does not have a single definition which comprehensively defines the region but rather is defined through different dimensions. This section provides basic information concerning key Arctic actors, including the Arctic eight states, the Arctic Council and the six Indigenous Peoples' Associations, often referred to as the Arctic Council Permanent Participants.
Further it provides an brief overview of important international, regional and subnational organizations with a special role in Governance in the Arctic. Finally, a list of Arctic official policies and security strategies, including those of the Arctic states and permanent participants, has been compiled and is regularly updated.
